Not the cutest Halloween card I've ever done, but here is this year's.

BABY DOLL CLOTHES

I bought this baby doll clothes pattern and I did not pay the $13.95, I got it half off. It has 3 sizes of baby doll clothes. I mixed pieces of patterns to get different looks, and used mostly cloth remnants I had on hand. Instead of doing facings, I cut double bodice tops and sewed them together inside out so I didn't have ragged edges or facing curling up. It works so much better.

CROCHET HOOK CASE

I saw a crochet case on Pinterest and decided I wanted to make one. It is similar to this, but not exact. I made some changes. Also, I am brave (stupid?) to post this, because I made about a bazillion mistakes on it (ha-ha, you think I am kidding), but I am keeping it, mistakes and all, as it will serve my purpose. The weird thing is that I don't really crochet, but I have kinda/sorta stumbled through a few things, like an afghan once, and crocheting around burp cloths a couple of times. However, I do have learning to crochet on my bucket list, and I do want to save the few crochet hooks I do have.'This material is just cotton with a heavy pellon filler. I wasn't prepared for the sewing of the hook places to pucker the material like it did here, but I am not sure how to prevent it either.  Most of the materials were left over from other projects, and this went together fairly quickly, so I am happy with it and will have these together now where I can find them easily.

BEEHIVES

My daughter works in the Young Women program for the LDS church. There is a beginning class called Beehives, and she wanted to make some door decorations to welcome the 12 year old girls into the organization. I came up with these 2 masters, both typing paper size. She will run the bees off on yellow paper. She is also going to add hearts to the door and words of welcome. I thought I would add these here, just in case anyone has a use for them.

DOC MCSTUFFINS CLIPBOARD PAGES

I decided to make a Doc McStuffins clipboard to go along with the Big Book of Boo Boos. I bought a small clipboard and made a master for the pages, 4 to a page. Just run off some copies and cut them apart, then watch your little one have fun.

DOLL BABY WIPES

The little girl who lives here just loves to change her baby's diaper over and over and over again. The trouble is, if her wipes are in reach, she uses several of them on her baby. We have tried to remember to keep them out of reach. I gave her a couple of squares of white fleece for wipes, but then I saw this idea on Pinterest. It is double felt to make it sturdy. I cut a circle on the center of one half and sewed the edges with a blanket stitch, using embroidery floss. I then sewed the velcro on the flap and the "case". I sewed a decorative button on the flap and then sewed the edges closed. The wipes are squares cut from white fleece. The little one hasn't seen it yet, but I think she is going to be happy.
